Default Just picked up my 87 944S

Hello,

I Just got my new (to me) 87 944S, I picked her up over the weekend. It's a 90k miles 1 owner car. Here's a few more pics.

Welcome to the board! Make sure the cam chain tensioner and pads are up to par so you don't have a problem down the road.

Thanks guys! This is my first P car, I passed through a couple E30 bimmers before taking the plunge. I'm still in the process of cleaning it up, and getting her ready to register, the timing belt was replaced about 3k miles ago, so I need to get the belt tensioned/adjusted before I can have some fun. This is a great site, a lot of things to pick up on.

Thats good that the belt is fresh, but pay attention to the cam chain tensioner! It is easy to check, just pull the valve cover, make sure those pads are not getting ready to fail - it's a really inexpensive part that can cause a lot of damage if neglected.......
