What a great event, weather not bad, and enough hot dogs for those guys who wanted several! Even had door prizes. All we needed were name badges so we'd know who everyone was.
Thanks much to John Dixon for his hospitality in sharing his vehicles and his incredible facility with a few dozen watercooled guys!

Just got back to Noblesville. What an awesome GTG. Mr. Dixon is a classy guy and I know of no one else that would open up his place like that and let strangers walk around amongst such valuable possessions. Awesome garaj and awesome cars and the hospitality was top notch.
I thought the drive over from Indy was quick, but I think the drive back was quicker. It was fun to finally open up the 928 and let it go.
Shrinking my pictures now, so I'll post them soon.

Had a great time. Mr. Dixson was really cool to let us all come over like that. What a down to earth guy too. Brett, I think the ride back was quicker
The 928 sounded incredible when you went cruising by!

Brett, no unfotunately the sound is really bad, lots of echos etc... Also, I think you have a brake light out on the right rear.
OT:
Mike, this is a scan of what's left of the window sticker. You can see the Leather interior option on the right side. Does this go for the door panels as well as the center console and under the dash? My door panels are stiched too?
Sam, What were you trying to tell me on the way back? something about 45?

First i wanted to thank Mr John Dixon for opening his doors to a bunch of strangers to admire his awesome collection. What a great guy, really down to earth and just an awesome person! I told him how great it was of him to do this for us and he said his grandfather once told him -If you cant share it, its not worth having.
Not only did he let us look at his beautiful building and cars, but he showed us his chef skills (great tube steak!) along with Bud Light and soda. To top it off he gave everyone 2 raffle tickets and gave away 924 GTS brochures in english, Taj hats, 959 ENGLISH brochure and Carrera GT posters signed by a well known race car driver(don't remember his name
)
He also started the CGT, let it warm up for about 10 min and revved it up a half of dozen times, bouncing it of the rev limiter a couple times. What an amazing car.
Thank you for everything John and i am looking forward to coming back again when the cars are in the building!
Also wanted to thank everyone for going, you people really are a bunch of cool guys to hang around with!
The drive there was great and i agree with everyone, the drive back was faster (might have been because Sam and I was playing tag
)
Ben your car looks great with the new mods, Brett your shark is NICE, I was a little intiminated having that shark on my tale the whole way back
Enough typing and on with the pictures. I didn't take many pictures of the 959 because my camera made love to it at Porsches 2 oxford (if you need any pics of the 959 engine, under carriage, interior etc just PM me) but did take alot of the CGT and the other great cars. The rothmans car only has about 12000 miles and yes, the 924 GTS only has 24 KM!
