I am aware that the 951s make bad drag cars due to the lag and poor launching ability....plus my 60ft time will probably never be great because I really am not interested in breaking anything in an attempt to get a nice 1/4 mile time.

I had the numbers so why not compare and speculate.

On paper and real life are 2 different things....I know.....but you have to start somewhere I guess.

Anyway I will be racing an M3 tonight......we will do from standing start and rolling start.......I got 100 octane in the tank (he he....he doesnt know) and will be turning the boost up........we ran even a couple months back when I was running 13psi.

Ok I don't know what is wrong with some of you guys here but its not that hard to launch these cars. My 924S runs a 15.7. Launching is not the best with worn out shocks, but its not too bad. I will say you need to get your 60 ft. time down to run a good time. If you got it down to a 2.2 you would be a lot faster. Better yet a 2.0. My buddies neon used to be able to cut 2.0's all day long with just Falken Aziena's, and autocross suspension. The squat with these cars is unbelieveable. People laugh when they see it. Try brake boosting at the line to get more power off the line.

Launching a 150hp 924S and a 300RWHP 944Turbo are two entirely different things....

So, how'd the M3 run go?

Let me know if you want to run the Z/28.

The M3 is no longer sufficient competition.....

Can your Z outrun a new M3?

Nice...As it sits it's probably slightly quicker than the M3, give me another month I have some parts on the way, then we'll have a go, you're not too far from me.

For example my 924S:

Our 60 foot is almost the same, i'm sure your turbo can beat nitrous. Oh also i was spinning all the way through 1st and partially in 2nd. i'm guessing you did yours on the street w/o spinning...
