Pounding with a hammer wont do any good since the rubber absorbs all the force. Try to compress it in a vice.

If that fails, get an m10 bolt and nut, a big washer (larger than the metal OD), and smaller washer (slightly smaller than the metal OD) and press it back in. Place the smaller washer on the end where the rubber is sticking out. You can even try using a socket on one end as well - you get the idea.

Or the easiest solution - buy new aftermarket sway bar links.

Their was a thread a couple of months ago for buying swaybar drop links

https://rennlist.com/forums/showthre...ght=drop+links

But I think he has none left. I'd buy a pair if he still had some.

Soap and a vice. Sounds like prison....or so I've been told.

I had one pop out while on the track. Yep, they are a bugger to get back in. IIRC I had to use a bench vice and a couple sockets. The next day I bought a set of the solid drop links.

Lol. Just went through the same problem with front sway bar middle bushings. What i did was use silicone grease, and get 2 sticks and get someone to help you and push like hell. A vice does help also.

I recommend Serge's droplinks. However, I also have the stock ones off my car in good shape (I replaced with Serge's kit). I'd be willing to sell my droplinks for a minimal amount of money. PM if interested.
