Just for reference, The reason that they shave them is because the max heat cycles for the tire happen before the tread wears away causing the core to be useless..... Full tread makes an excellent rain track tire though.

Where did you get them - I've always gotten them shaved from Vilven tire and they have been pretty quick with delivery.

I'm gonna be running Hoosier Grand Am Cup scrubs so we'll see how it goes. I bought a couple sets of regular Hoosier S03 scrubs in the past with mixed results - one set was great and the other set was hard as a rock. So I may or may not be kicking anyone butt - the bad tires excuse never gets old!

I run 40psi hot as well, and have been very pleased with their perforance as well as their durability.
