The S2 cab market is very location dependent right now. This one sold for only $5k yesterday in Boston: $5k S2 cab in Boston. And it looks like NickG's S2 cab finally found a buyer at $7.5k NickG's S2 on eBay .

I've been looking at a 90 Cab that has a piston slap. The owner is selling for around 5k. Thats seems really good for this area. The owner said that the cylinder is not messed up and it doesnt need to be bored out. He said that it has a bad piston skirt. What is that? I think I'd still get it checked out by a good mechanic before getting serious.

If I do get serious about buying my 83 will be up for sale right away. Does anyone on the west coast want to sell me their S2 for a really good price?
