Well, it happened! I broke it off in there.(or I should say, Porsche broke it off in US) The 1st one just slid right out. The 2nd one, after 2 weeks of soaking w/PB & Liquid Wrench, still won't do anything but rotate. I suspect the problem is the oring stuck to the housing. Tried gently lifting up while rotating; no dice.Got pissed and put some force behind the lifting and SNAP! It wasn't coming out anyway.
The bracket that holds it has a sleeve that hinges it for adjustment, but also prevents it from coning out w/a sensor in it. Will the bellhousing come back just enough to let this clear. I'm doing a clutch job, and the farther I dig on this car; the farther I dig!!
