Default Seat-Delete & Rollbar Repaint

Took me about a week to do both. I took lots of pics, but thought I would put these up for now. Painted the bar deep grey and the PORSCHE in German Silver.

I love the paint job - very nice. Rattle can or paint gun? I had trouble getting an even spread of paint with my duplicolor metallic rattle can job, when I painted my roll bar.

You unbolt the seat top, rip out the glued seat bottom, and cut a piece of carpet to go over the mess.

I actually Sprayed the silver, masked it with a sticker and foam brushed the enamel over top.

The delete used MANY layers of foam, as just putting carpet down would not work. Too many complex bends. I will try to post the detailed pics later.

Just an update of the complete project.

Before

After

The bar looks really light in the pics with the flash, but it is actually pretty dark. Now all that's left is...ALCANTARA!

Looks great - I look forward to seeing how you did the back seat - I need to do the same thing in my "S".

Who has those bars available? I've found harness bars but not the bolt-in hoop.
