Default There has to be something ive forgotten!

trying to turn the engine to TDC. i do not consider myself hercules, but fairly strong, and i cant get it too budge!. its in neutral, plugs are out, even the oil cap is off! it was just runnin yesterday so it should be all oiled up. i even disconnected the powersteering and used the belt like a caveman tool and tried to turn it with the belt. is there something im forgetting? somethin else i should do? or should i head to the gym?

i didnt include, thats the sad part, i dont have a deep socket and my entension is just a hair too long (thats kinda odd taken outta context). so the wrench is out.
i can try the starter to get it close but i dont know if i will still be able to turn it by hand.since my car is not in any shape to drive right now, i can only go get new tools maybe tommorow when i have a ride. it sucks that i dont have any friends who would wanna go to a tool store just for fun. i think its fun.

I bought a long breaker bar from Autozone for $16 (I think) with a 1/2" drive and a 24mm socket. This made it much easier to get the crank bolt loose.

Before that I used a 3/8" socket drive with a step-up to 1/2" adapter and the same 24mm socket.

I don't see you turning this by hand....

The valve train on these cars amazes me at how much torque it takes to move. Use a socket and a big driver.

24mm deep socket and half-inch drive ratched driver - always does the trick for me.
