Im not 100% sure what size my wheels are but I suspect 16x7 front and 16x8 rear. Previous owner put on 215 front tires 225 rears. I cant really say how it handles though because my passenger front shock is blown and the tires are absolutely horrible. I guess Ill find out when I pull the wheels to change out the shocks/struts. I have the original wheels (15x6 f 15x7 rear ) but Im looking for 2 15x7s for the front so hopefully Ill be able to run 225s all around. Its gonna be a tight fit though.

I run 225's on all corners on my '83 924 na and 255 rears on my 931 which has alloy rear suspension + '86 Turbo discs. Wheels are 964 Turbo 3.3 Cup 1's, 9" width and they fit just fine, no rubbing.

for the us the 924S has the same engine as the 944 from the same year.
87 924S engine = 87 944 engine (US spec 147 hp SAE)
88 924S engine = 88 944 engine. (World spec 158 hp SAE)
The differences are the as follows
Interior is the same as 83-85 944 except with different colors.
No flared fenders.
front suspenison is steel and same as 83-85 944
rear suspension is aluminum and same as 85.5 and 86 944.
5th gear in 87 944 is shorter than in the all 944's except for 88 when both cars had the same shorter 5th.
The 924S is the same as a 944 except for the visual differences and is a mix of late 944 and early 944 parts.
