Hi all,
Here are some pictures of the car I bought today. 1987 n/a, with 85k miles, cruise control, central locking, Arena Red repaint, Turbo suspension upgrade, and Blaupunkt Cd player. Timing belt & waterpump done around 5 months ago at 83,000 miles. Bought it for $7,150. I am the third owner.
What do you all think?

Yeah, I thought it was a bit overpriced but the dealer did want $8k for it originally, I wasn't willing to go much over $7k, but what pushed me "over the edge" was the fact that the timing belt and waterpump had been replaced so recently.
I think the a/c might have been converted, since it blows COLD, but the motor seems to smell like it's burning up when the a/c is on, so maybe it wasn't converted, just recharged with Freeze 12 or whatever that Freon substitute is. Oh well, at least I have some things still left to do on it.

Screams "repaint". I would put the 944 back where it belongs. Otherwise, VERY nice car!! Enjoy it!

Nice looking car! The more I see the linen interiors, the more I want one (mine is all black interior, and I have the popular "dash crack" option).
It's really not that bad of a price when you consider how much it would be to buy a "cheap" 944 and have it professionally repainted - especially considering the shape your car is in.
I'm assuming it was a good repaint, here (did they do the engine compartment, too, or is that the original color?)
