Nor-Cal (Bay Area) Wrenching Party?
Well I got a list of things I need to do with the 951. Anyone else want to get together and have a wrenching party? I am having a "built in" BBQ built as I write this and is supposed to be done tomorrow.
Turn some wrenches, drinks some beers (sodas if Juan shows up), have a little BBQ.............anybody?

I'd be down for it in a 1-2 weeks, depending on whether the 951 in the Bay Area checks out.
Assuming it does, I would fly up to pickup the car and drive it down to LA. The oil pan gasket needs to be replaced (a super fun task
) and I would love some help.

i should be free saturday. like.....for reals this time.
we could re-do my vac lines, and find out what the real deal is with my car.
my car is going into the mechanic on friday to diagnose that steering problem, but it should be out by the end of the day.
next weekend 21-23, i'll be in the bay area, but i'll be there with friends in inverness (last weekend got cancelled)
the weekend after that (28-30) i SHOULD be free, but i'll just have had my widsom teeth removed, so i dont know how much of a help i'll be with no wisdom.

for me it would have to be this weekend or next........might be in El Salvador the last weekend of the month......still havent settled my schedule for that.

yeah, i could probably make it for this weekend.
next is bad for me, but this i could make it.
either way, i cant contribute much aside from smashing **** and picking up engines over my head.
oh, and hunting things with my machete.

OK here is the deal............I will be wrenching on my 951 this Saturday at around 10:00..........the grill will be on............anyone who wants to show up and do some wrenching, bull****ting, mooching of food or whatever is welcome. PM me for the address if you need it.

Well my car is sitting seatless, stripped, and gutted on the inside. Looks like I'll have to pass on this one...the food and beer part sounds awfully good though. Does popping a beer cap qualify as 'wrenching'?
