I think that we need to schedule a lunch and photo shoot day soon. I figured I would start a thread and throw out some dates. How would Saturday the 22nd or the 29th work for folks?

I am thinking something along the lines of meeting somewhere central like PCA headquarters off Hammond and then driving to a couple key spots to get some great pictures. Then we could grab some lunch at a sandwich shop around Northpoint Mall. It would be great to aim to have 10 to 15 cars there.

yea everything i've tired to plan in the past have been a bust, anyway is it just gonna be 944 or all porsches, and also good website, atl based, is rennsouth.com, might wanna just try to get everyone on there rather than posting in like 15 different sections just to get everyones attention

 

Hey guys, the end of this month is gonna be crazy for me getting ready to move back down to Statesboro. I can probably make a photo shoot but not a mountain drive as my Dad's 951 *most likely* won't be running by then. Maybe I can use this meet as collateral to help him finish it up. The only things left on it are the tranny install, putting the seats back in, wiring the dme/maf sensor up and putting fluids in before we start it for the first time. As of now, the beast lays quiet on the lift. I'll watch this thread and let you guys know if we get lucky and get her running and tuned in time

 

The 29th would work for me. I will be out of town on the 22nd. I'm not sure I can do a mtn. run, but can meet at PCNA to meet some folks and take some pictures.

 

I'd vote for the 29th.

As for the car, it won't be coming. Track use only now. I'll be in the 4Runner. Designated chase car.

 

Alex - good to hear from you Well - looks like things are lining up for the 29th and the starting point will be the PCA headquarters on Hammond Dr. How about we meet there at 11:00 and get some pictures, drive out to lunch somewhere in the area and then on to one or two other picture destinations? I'll have to hunt down a couple cool places in advance.....Ian did a great job with the deck last time around.

 

How about the 22nd! I have to work on the 29th. I always seem to miss these GTG.

Well - looks like the majority say 29th. Wi54545 - we'll catch you on the next one - can't ever seem to work one of these out for everyone.

BTW Ian - nice looking engine bay. You guys have put a lot of work into that car - should be pretty nice to get some driving time in soon.

Anyone talking to Brian (Perry 951) lately? I sent him an IM about the GTG - just hoping he might be able to make it.
