Default Pricing the waters

As much as I've been loving the 944, I've had some issues lately. Nothing with car has actually gone wrong, but it just seems like fate is strongly agaisnt me owning it. About how much could I expect to get for a 1988 944 with 112k on the clock. Engine was rebuilt at 87k. Brand new tires, just had the oil changed, and the AC recharged. Clean title, good interior.

I'll pick it up for $2!

no, but to be realistic, if the car is CLEAN then maybe 6K? if not, 3-5K. but I'm no expert.

no way $6000. I can't sell a nice s2 cab for 7500. think more like $3000 or so

I'm going to second that, especially since my 944 got schooled by the Volvo above in autocross.

Put me down for #3 on the Volvo idea.
88 240 wagon w/365k...and you don't have to worry about locking the doors!

Only thing is, in case my location didn't give it away, I'm in the military. So paychecks are awfully small. And I dont have nearly enough rank (or space to put) to buy another car. After I get back from Iraq I'll be looking for a new car, but for now, its either 944 solo, or sell it and get something else.
