Wow this did not even go for 2000!
This is almost a perfect early car. All it needs is a clutch.
I guess I'll replace the clutch and list it for 5 grand.
Any suggestions?

I only paid $3000 for a car that is nearly identical to your description, except does not need a clutch or does not have a shimmy and has around 100k. If someone needs to pay for a clutch job they may just opt for one that does not need work immediately with lower mileage, at least I would.
I seriously doubt you will get $5000 for an early 944 with 160k, especially on eBay. I wish you well though, because I would love to just get around $4000 or so for mine, but I doubt it will even get that high.

The weird thing is I have it listed on autotrader and i have people from Missisippi and Arkansas, North Caorolina going ape **** over it. If they could drive it home!
And my honest response is, the engine is in excellant cond. it is the clutch i'm worried about.
Is it just supply and demand. Fl has 944's everywhere, where the rest of the south they are in short supply.
