Heck Hoss, I never said that thing hooked up with narrow semi dry rotted street tires. You gotta do something when your car is slow (burn out, make lots of noise and smoke, and lose). I have lots of fun doing it. But what do you expect for a $700 car?

Come on if drag racing is your thing (not that there's anything wrong with that) why not choose a car more suited to doing it? I have rebuilt a transaxle due to pinion-itis (but not drag starts) and it was a rewarding project but why would you purposely see how many launches it took to grenade yours?
