Default Parts Heaven Swap Meet/Concours Report

Went down to the Parts heaven swap meet today.......scored a couple deals 1) KLA strut bar 2) 4 brand new Kumho VictoRacers - $200.....and missed out on the deal of the swap perhaps.....4 Cup wheels with almost new Yokos for $400...another guy was selling an LSD for $575.....resisted temptation on that one.....maybe some other time......

Saw some nice cars at the concours....here are a few of my pics but I'm sure others have nicer ones......Luckett post your pics......

EDIT: Anyone got some cheap 16" wheels I can mount these Kumhos on for the track?

It was great to see everyone today. Lots of people stopped by.

Hey, no mention of all the 944's for sale? A nice 89 turbo, a black NA, a white Turbo an a Very Cherry 86 944 Turbo.

Didn't sell the Tranny or the torque tube. Wittled down the stack a bit. We'll be doing inventory and post a photo list of what's left. (lots)

My goal next time is to wander around like everyone else. :^)

DanD, sorry if you carted the torque tube down on my account. I just couldn't stomach the idea of putting it in my linen interior. Half way home it dawned on me that we probably could have left it at Parts Heaven and picked it up later...

I brought my camera, and took absolutley zero pics, and I should have, there were lots of nice cars there. That green speedster was pretty darn nice, as were the R-gruppe cars. Some of the cars parked across the street were pretty hot too, namely an ocean blue 993TT on kinesis wheels

Andial, Let me think No.

Tom, no big deal. If you're still interested, we can come up with a way to get it to you.

Did anyone see the White 914 with the body kit? 520 hp V8 with crossover headers. Very cool car.

The guy next to me had 2 turbos, a fiberglass front end for a turbo, lexan window and seats. All going for list (used) price if you ask me. Nice stuff though. Bill might know how to get ahold of him.
I think Andial bought the KLA bar from him.

Lots of cool cars. Like the slant nose. There was another Red Turbo that I saw when it drove past the poor folk section.

Hey, a VW, my brother would've been excited. I got there late so I missed the best deals, but I still got myself a black 951 4-spoke steering wheel which I've been wanting for ages! Now my red NA is completely converted from the brown interior, and I gotta say the steering wheel makes the most difference.

Hey Dan, I saw your car, but I didn't know it was you or I would have introduced myself. Your car really was nice. It's too bad there can't be as many nice 944s as 911s at these kinds of events. Did you guys see the mint 924?
