well, im sorry that i had wrote out a process on workign on the oil pressure sender...i read the question wrong. do you believe yours is failing? are you simply concerned and want to clean it?

3 piece does NOT have a o rings, 1 piece does

more concerned , after seeing other postings discussing sludge buildup etc.
mine ,appears very clean, no nicks or scratches,so looks like i am ok to reinstall!

Sorry, I don't know how old this thread is, but i'd rather bump and oldie that make a new one hehe..

I have low LOW oil pressure, (like .5-0 at idle) and at most 2 bar while driving (2.5 when cold)..

I'm hoping it's just the OPRV but i don't know what this looks like, i've spent my life working on VW's we don't have a oprv.. anyone have pics of it still on the motor?
