One strike against him, though, is the fact that I can't get him to reply to my questions about the installation. It's been two days and I haven't heard squat from him.

I purchased a set of Julian's dash LED upgrade on Ebay about a year ago and never got around to installing them. I had several emails with him before and after the purchase so I'm not sure why you are having trouble reaching him. My transaction was definitely a positive one. I have the PDF install manual somewhere.

I dont know anything of the kit on eBay..but i have this kit on my car right now, and it was well worth the cost (about $150).

They are extremely well made and a very high quality product. I have no high res pictures..but the ones on the website look exactly like what i have in my car.
They are a bit expensive..but if you really want the best in my opinion, this is it.

Holy crap that’s expensive just for the cluster LED’s. You boys need to contact rennlister GotMeAPorsha for his interior lighting kit. It’s a plug and play LED set-up, works with the factory dimmer, includes the instrument cluster, all dash lighting (*****, switches, etc), as well as lights for the Autometer gauges. The enttire interior matches. Personally I think just doing the instrument cluster makes the rest of the interior lighting look even worse. It is a super white light and makes the interior lighting look 20 years newer. It is by far the best out there and requires simply replacing bulbs. I was a test dummy (so was Epic2112) so I don’t know how much he’s charging but they’re outstanding. He’s also working on a kit for my 84.

Jeremy- Sounds good to me! I hope he gets a decent early dash kit working- I'd love to do something about the setup in my 83. If I'm going to all the trouble of taking things apart to replace lights, they damned well better stay working...
