I think the most ghetto Porsche tool I have read about would be the one where someone tied their bumper to a tree and then proceeded to pull out a collasped bumper shock by throwing it in reverse. Though I believe it worked, that just has ghetto written all over it.

HG is not a hard job. I'd rather do that then a few other jobs on this car.
Guys, the headers come OFF with the head, thats why the job is easy.
I used a breaker bar too, home depot bought. complete with rage dents. I did also try it with a half inch wrench alone, and was succesful. Wasn't that difficult...

You have an airgun that both fits in that space AND is capable of breaking the torque?

Now that I think about it, I did not have my radiator installed and the A/C condeser was long gone for the crank bolt.
And as for the head nuts, I'm pretty sure I used the airgun for all but I think two of them, and it was like a year ago so I might be remembering wrong.
So I guess yes, I have one that fits that space AND is capable of breaking the torque.
Wouldn't you have just as much of a chance backing a stud out with a big breaker that puts a large constant force on it as you would with an airgun that exerts many shorter higher force blows? If its going to come loose, its going to come loose. Is that the wrong attitude to have?

That's cheating.
