Yes they work great. I have all my cars coverd. My 94 had it on from day one, has all original nearly flawless paint. I replaced it new about 2 years back. Had to replace the hood piece again last year. A truck through a rock and it left a 5 " scrape in the plastic. The paint underneith was not disturbed but if it wasn't covered it would have destroyed the paint for sure.

The guy who did my cars is here in NJ and does incredible work. Just got back from Zone 1 concours and came in second with near perfect score. All the judges were amazed and impressed by the quality of work. I would give him a call. www.clearbrayourcar.com

I'll second the vote for getting a clearbra. I just had one put on my 951 by Chris from Pristine Autowerks (http://www.pristineautowerks.com). He did great work as well, and was quite reasonable (i think I paid about $300 total -- he came to my garage in brooklyn on a Sunday morning to do it). On a darker color (mine is grey), it's very hard to see. I think that it's hugely worthwhile.

Yeap,

Same guy.

Tell him I sent you. You can take it to his shop or have him come to your home. He just needs a clean wind free environment to work in.

i just watched the video, so do they make custom pieces to rit your car? with the bends 'n such? seems like if you ordered these pieces yourself that it would be pretty easy to do yourself.

They do come precut, but it looked far from easy to apply. The difference in cost to buy a kit versus having someone cut the kit themselves and install it is not that large.

Cool, looking in the neighborhood, we need more Porsche owners. That part of town is very nice and I am lucky to have a nice quiet corner lot secluded from most everything. The house just below me was recently listed. Priced to sell at $635k although has no central A/C. You must have driven by just as we got home from the Zone 1 Concours. Was a long weekend. By the time we got home after the rain and stuff the clean cars were filthy.

Next time your in the area stop buy and say hello.

To be honest Nelson can do just about anything. Some things more difficult than others. A lot of it has to do with stretching and getting the material to conform correctly. He has made complete custom pieces along with pre designed kits to make it come out looking great. IMO pay to have it done. It is much more work and time consuming than you think and if he screws up he makes a new piece and installs it. If you screw up you need to buy another piece.

Depending on the color of the car most are almost invisable.
