It's funny you should mention that. I'll be ripping up a subfloor this weekend...

I'll be sure to document what I remove and if there are any ramifications. I already cut my defrost lead in the back, before I knew what it went to ( ), but in southern california it's not really an issue.

Pulling the dash is the only way to adequately remove the necessary items underneath. There was a lot I wasn't going to do, but now my car is just a shell with a cage. I even pulled the entire wiring harness which is a scary proposition for someone as electrically inept as me.

I was making great progress on my car for a short time, but we found a house we like (weren't actually in the market) and we're trying to get some things done to our house to see if we can get it on the market before the one we like sells. So, I know only too well how that slows you down.

So THAT's why they always say buy a race car that's already built! I'm exhausted from just reading the journal.

Thanks for the comments. It's a PITA, but well worth it when it's all said and done. I'm trying to get through the wiring mess so I can get the dash installed again and she how she looks put back together.

Good work Chris.
It takes time, but the car will turn out pretty good. Just remember you are never "done" with the car. There is always something left to do and most of us racers have had years of tinkering to get our cars like they are now.

Thanks guys!

I'm motivated again, but school and work keep me busy...damn life and responsibilities getting in the way of racing!

Spaze, send me a PM if you have any trouble with the chassis. It's not fun, but well worth it if you ask me.
