Turbo water pump question....

if i damaged my radiator and am not getting a smooth flow of coolant will that affect the turbo water pump????
BTW the radiator isn't leaking

Shouldn't.
The feed for the turbo water pump is the regular water pump (the "elbow" off of it).
If you damaged the radiator so badly that the coolant isn't flowing smoothly, it probably isn't too wise to drive the car anyway.

are you talking about the electric pump?
I am trying to remember plumbing... but off top of my head I am think ing possible turbo thermostat stuck closed and pump working hard to try to pull coolant

They do fail over time. Pull it out, stick it in a bucket of water and put a current on it - watch the operation. I'm not sure if there's a factory manual spec. for flow rate gpm or anything - I'll check when I get home. They do fail eventually though due to (usually) corrosion around the impeller.
