Looking for an old 944......
I found this on AutoExtra.com. Not a bad deal if you ask me. What do you think?

Seems like a good deal for the mileage, but I wouldnt say to good to be true. Its missing the batwing. (under the front bumper) btw. It has rusnak westlake plates, prolly had work done there. Those guys HATE 944's. Prolly also why the under body is missing, mechanics like to leave em off if they know the car is coming back. saves em work next time.

I like it. Someone likely wants to just move it.

What am I missing here -- I see a price of $8495 for a "typical" looking car. White always photographs well, and the paint on the phone dials doesn't smack of "pristine, always garaged, etc".
Slight misalignment of one headlight lid makes me think prior front end damage.
Like most dealer cars, probably mechanically neglected, probably has original struts, clutch, master/slave cyls, old timing belt, etc. What's "too good to be true" for such a car for $8495?
