Default Pics of new fixed headlights setup

I've posted a pic of this in my project thread here:
https://rennlist.com/forums/944-turbo-and-turbo-s-forum/244296-time-to-present-the-go-big-project-with-pics.html

But thought I'd share some more detailed pics of this setup since it is a much better design than the GT Racing parts.

As you can see on the pictures the headlight buckets and nose panel is a one-piece-design. This results in a perfect alignment for the lense covers, which is the major drawback of the other kits!
The whole thing weighs practically nothing. Hella H4 headlamps. Will probably get an xenon light kit for them later.

Might have to cut some inlets in the panel for the new intercooler though..

looks very nice who makes this, I might be looking this winter for a fixed headlight kit. Any idea what the weight savings are? also any pics of them with the headlights on to see the output?

Looks nice!

What are the covers made of - heat-formed lexan? Do they distort the light output at all?

Post up some pics of your car sometime, looks like a very attractive shade of green

Tim>> The kit is made by a Swedish company that makes fiberglass products for 944's. Sorry no pics with the lights on, the car is pieces right now.

Jack>> Yes, the covers are lexan. Supposed to leave the beam intact.

Here's a pic of how it looked before this winter's madness of changing almost everything:

It's an 88 Turbo S. But the RUF wheels are pretty deep dish!
They will however be replaced this season by 18" Gemballa with black center.

Hehe, don't include me. I've only done fiberglass work once, on a BMW I used to own... the results were crap so now I'm sticking to engines

That green is awesome. You don't see that color everyday. More pics as she gets closer to being finished. As any 951 is truly "finished"!

is that available to us in the US? I like it alot. I wonder if it comes close to offesting the price when you sell a good header panel, headlights, and all related equipment. Can you get me a price on that?

Is there some kind of bezel that trims out the rectangular lamp? Also, how do you mount that lexan so it looks clean?

I don't think I understand the fixed headlight thing.

Your car looks sweet BTW
