You can recline the SRD all the way back and ship it in a much shortter box. Recaro used to ship them that way. If you want to find a free box, you could try Best Buy/Circuit City for empty TV boxes. I also recently shipped a factory seat using a box that some patio furniture (from Lowes) came in.

Sounds like oversized to me. I forth the garment/wardrbe box though. Or you can just drop them off at my house, out of sight out of mind.
