Default It sucks not having a 944 anymore(Edit:WTB)

Man, now that spring/ early Summer is here I've been going through Porsche withdrawls.

I sold my 951 a little while back to Waterguy and am feeling like I sold a family member..............

I keep telling myself I'll get another one in about 3 years from now, but I don't think I can wait that long.

Hopefully if I play my cards right in about 3 years I'll be in a position to pick up a used Cayman-S, or build a 968 Turbo, so the wait will be worth it.

On the other hand maybe a nice simple 944 will hold me over untill then.

Anyone got a nice, stock 44' in the NW for a good price?........lol

Audi TT's are garbage. The pedal cluster is a nightmare. Just my opinion.

Edit: In retrospect, I guess that would be cool for a daily driver. I just wouldn't really like it for any track duty. I guess I make the mistake of thinking about all cars that way. My bad POP. LOL.

hehe. Understandable.

Yea, I'm considering for a daily driver when I'm not on the motorcycle. Kinda' fun. Great gas mileage but not so powerful as to get me in trouble like the 951 does at times.

I've been fixing up a pretty nice 85.5 n/a but since I can pick up a way newer '02 or '03 TT for $12k or so, I'm sort of wondering why not. . . I already have two other P-cars with a truckload of mods for 'em.

Just an idea I'm toying with. . . I just kinda' like the TT roadsters and they look to be pretty good cars overall - and not terribly expensive. I'll probably keep/drive the 85.5 for a while and see how I feel in a few months. Ahh, the joys of having too many cars!

Jason,
A resonable 944 can be had for $3k depending on area, that wont be perfect but enough to keep a weekend every now nad then occupied with working on it and you still get to dirive a 944. Granted its not a turbo, but its still REALLY fun.

But as a daily driver, you can't lane-split in a TT -- do you really want to sit in traffic all day long?

Anyhow, going back on topic.... Jason, definitely -- get yourself back in p-car! You know you want to...

BTW, there's a chance that I might put the white S2 on the market later this summer....

I'm thinking about selling off a couple of guitars and amps to buy a NA. That should free up about $5k. So I should be able to get into a farily nice one that that, and then dip into savings for the usual upkeep.

As far as that S2 goes, that's all I need to do........explain to my Wife how that car ended up back in the garage.

That's my buddy John's 951, I'm helping him sell it. It is still for sale.

I'll check to see if I've got that relay tonight and PM the results.

Man Jason, I know how you feel. Mine is finally back together and I'm just chasing a few wiring problems... as much as I love my bike, it is terrible in the daily driver duty here....too uncomfortable and loud. price you pay for a sportbike i guess

I'll keep an eye out for ya Jason! You should easily get a really good na for under 5k!

I feel your pain! Having had that 951 you had, MUST make it hard!

Give the wife and youngin my best!
