The european car dealer up here in Allentown, PA has a few 944's and 2 924's. He also has a 1986 951 for $6500 with 97k on it.

Ken,
Thanks Buddy!

Tigershark,
Thanks for the headsup, but I'm keeping my search local to the NW.

I some how just convinced my Wife to let me officially start looking.

I'd like to get a late car, the 89' would be at the top of the list, but I would consider a pristine early car.

I like most colors; silver, white, red, blue would work.

Upkeep over miles, but would like to keep it under 130k.

Autocross orientated upgrades a bonus, but would prefer a stock sport suspension equipped car for the stock classes in AX.

I'm looking for a car that either is ready to be a daily driver that needs little or nothing for market value.

or

A pristine car with a blown engine or timing belt problems for cheap.

Any leads would be great!
Let the hunt begin!

There's a pretty nice 968 for sale in Santa Monica for about $12k. I'd even drive it up to you.

Well, I'm not having much luck locating a 944 NA around here.

I did stumble across a autocross prepped 91' 2nd gen MR2 NA for cheap.............I'm tempted.... .....finally something that would competitive in autocross...........
Although the graphics and wing would have to go.

2nd Gen MR2s are incredible Auto-X'ers. Mid engine and light. See if you can find one with out the T-tops though. Lower COG and lighter.
