Interesting... Thanks, Cajun- I may see what I can do to get the Euro bumper lights to behave like that. Having three sets of light switches in completely different places is getting a bit old, and doesn't really make any sense. I'll probably see about wiring things up the way you describe, then covering over the fader hole (which should be pretty easy, as there's already a wood dash kit in the car (Madera Concepts) that needs some refinishing.

That front bumper is aluminum...just like my '84 Euro 944 bumper. The driving lights in the bumper should have a set of smaller bulbs in the reflectors which do come on with the parking lights...sort of like daytime running lights. Once you hit your high beams, it turns the driving lights on...nice and bright.

What I don't see on your bumper is the hole for the tow hook which screws into the bumper right beside the passenger side bumper pad.

From what I remember of my Euro N/A, the tow hook screws into the bumper mount, for which you need to remove the bumper pad.

On the fiberglass bumper, yes.

Looks too flat across the top for the glass fiber version. From the side it probably sicks out a bit further too. Still a neat bumper.

The wood in the interior actually looks really nice. And of course the front bumper and rear valence make me drool.

That's my front bumper with the parking lights.
And yes, the tow point is under the bumper pad.

My back valence as well.
Lucky man. Looks much better than the stuff they dumped on the US market! LOL

My car is currently at a friend's house in Baton Rouge. When I get it back here, I will take some pictures. My front end & rear end are 100% Euro...it even still has the front & rear shaved bumpers!!!

I will post the pics when I get the car back...

Sweet, Cajun- I'm looking forward to seeing that. I'm thinking I may try to go full-out Euro for the exterior, so it'd be nice to see what you've got.

That interior looks like it's the same as yellowline's... He was selling a set of sport seats in what looks like that material... Post your option codes!

Here are the option codes again, though I'm guessing what you're thinking of is the interior color code...

C76 - ???
F37 - ???
220 - LOCKING DIFF 40 %
395 - 16" FORGED LIGHT METAL RIMS
418 - SIDE PROTECTION MOLDINGS
423 - BOX FOR CASSETTES AND COINS
431 - 4 SPOKE LEATHER 363 MM STEERING WHEEL
567 - TINTED WIDSHIELD - UPPER DARKER

The color code for the interior is LZ7Z as far as I can tell, same as the paint code. This is right off the option/paint/interior code sticker in the back, so I'm a bit confused, as that's not something I'm finding offhand on any of the interior color code charts I've checked thus far... Any thoughts?

And yeah, if someone's selling sport seats with the matching interior, I'm definitely interested.

Now that I think about it, I do have a few pictures saved to my computer & I would be happy to e-mail them to someone if they would post them for me...they may need to be re-sized & I don't know how to post them...

One of the bumper lights is removed in the photos because the previous owner was in the process of changing the driving light, but you can get the idea. Also, the rear shot will give you an idea of what the euro spec rear bumper looks like...not much protection...it has a really cool "tucked" look to it...

This weekend when the car is back home I will take a picture of the front end with the parking/driving lights on, one with the headlights & driving lights on, one with the highbeams on (both the headlights & driving lights), and a picture with all of the lights on including the fog lights...

My car also has a rather interesting interior. The door panels and seat inserts look like black & white checkerboards...neat material, but VERY 80's !!!!! Has anyone seen this type of interior before???

Sweet, Cajun. I'll have to do some looking into how those lights are wired, because I like the sound of how that should work...
