Default Couple recent pics...

Went for a drive after almost 2 weeks of no driving. Lots of fun as usual!

I noticed a "air leak" sound right around the area of the idle stabilizer. Only under idle while the hood was up. Im going to get the Lindsey vacuum line kit, anyone use it and is it good or are there better kits. I checked 944 online and they sell the stock vacuum lines for a little more, are they any better then the linsey kit? Enough questions, here are the pics

Very nice looking car. Are they the origional wheels? What years did they come on? It is about time to upgrade the 16" phone dials.

The Lindsay kit is only good for the small diameter plastic vaccuum lines, in which case it is 100x better than the stock lines as they wont get brittle and crack. If you really want to do the job 'right', you should then replace the two rubber vaccuum hoses which run on either side of the ISV, under the intake manifold. There is also another hose which runs from the top of the air oil seperator (oil fill tube) to the intake boot, this is the crankcase breather.
