Hopefuly Wolfe will post pics of just how did the spark plugs are done in teh S2 motor. When we where doing the belts and stuff on my S2 he was taking pics of teh process the whole way, and he should post the pic to show just how deep they are down in there

I know this is a crazy question but im a new Porsche 944 owner, do you just pull the caps straight off the plugs? They seem very hard to pull off.

They're the same number. Did mine 2mo ago. (Along with the cap/rotor/wires)

Pull and twist/twist and pull and they should come off. Dielectric grease in the boots will help prevent that in the future. Verify after you've put the boots back on that the female connector inside has actually clipped onto the plug... that's screwed me countless times on other cars.

[QUOTE=Fishey:3004720]Blue S2, For your 944S2 you will want to buy NGK BPR6ES / Champion RN7YC / Bosch WR5DC

You can pick your preferance out of those 3 sparkplugs since it really makes little to no diffrence. All other plugs you find at a parts store are 100% Garbage expecially the Bosch Platinums and all Iridium Plugs.

***** You just listed THREE different heat ranges! The third character in the part # (ie WR7 ) is the heat range. 7 is the factory recommended heat range.
