Default New bulbs, but tail lights are still not working?

This is annoying as hell!!

I checked the fuses, bought new bulbs, and still my center tail lights don't work. Brake lights, turn signals, and right and left (small bulbs) rear lights work OK.

I also played with the sponge covered wire harnesses and sprayed the bulb bases and brown ground connections with contact cleaner...nothing.

Any idea what I should do next? There is no water getting into my tail lights. Do I need to buy a new light assembly?

Grounds. Clean with 1000 grit sandpaper and dielectric grease. Under the carpet on both sides.

Center tail light or 3rd light on the hatch?

Have you done a continuity trace yet to see if there is voltage present?

I don't know what a continuity trace is...as far as the grounds, do I un-bolt them from the bottom of the hatch floor, sand the connectors, then re-install?

Yea, you want to have a good clean contact patch. So, you would remove the wire/nut and sand all very clean and smooth then re-install. That is what I do when everywhere I am in the area.

Yep. Clean all the grounds. Shiny is good!

I have a similar problem with my front right turn. I don't get any voltage from any of the contacts where the bulb goes either.

I cleaned the ground for the rear lights. Still, both middle tail lights are out. Every other light bulb in the car works fine...it's just the two tail lights that are out. Any other ideas?

I thought the middle tailight isn't even there unless you add a bulb? Did you splice into your outer corner tailights and the center ones aren't working after the splice. I added bulbs to the dead center space and if the corner tailight is working the center should work without any problem. Are you talking about an aftermarket center tailight that goes in the license area?

Center tail light is the wrong way to put it. It's this one:
