Today while working on the 944 I managed to snap the nipple off of my new master cylinder. Needless to say, I'm pretty unhappy about it. Pb welding it crossed my mind, but better judgement won over...
Are our master cylinders rebuildable? Would swapping my old resviour onto the new cylinder be alright or should I just buy a new one..
I'm hoping by the weekend I will have my 944 back among the driving
...but today was just one f-up after another...most resulting in some pretty cuts

Your not referring to the plastic check valve thats on the front of the booster, are ya? If so, there is a recent post on this from someone else, and yes it is a cheap part, cheap fix.
