Default Preferred Ball Joint Grease?

I just rebuilt my ball joints with the Rennbay Super Deluxe Kit and need to grease them up before putting them back in the car. Both my grease guns were shot and had crappy grease in them, so I am picking up a new gun and need to get grease. Can you specify a grease that I can get at Autozone or Walmart? No tracking just want reasonably good stuff for daily driver.

Thanks

Used Mobil1 synthetic grease in mine..but have yet to install them on the car.

Dont be like me and put in to much grease....the lower plate bulged out and belt the snapring outta whack. Travis had to send me a few extras...and i have to go through the hell of getting the snap ring back in! . Hopefully will have mine on by this time next week..i just hope the balljoints dont blow up on the first ride.

You should be able to use any high temp axle grease.

I use either Redline CV-1 (or is it CV-2?) or Mobil 1 synthetic wheel bearing grease.
Both are red, so it's cool

This is what I use.... on everything. Never had a problem with it degrading with high temps, has a high Teflon content and its opaque / clear.

Thanks guys.

Also, great kit Travis! My only problem with the install was the dang c-clamp, but my 20ton press worked just fine.

I use Redline CV1 on everything too. Bearings, CVs, balljoints, clutch, etc.
