My Engine Bay Restoration, Hose Replacement, Tune-Up, etc. with pictures

Kevin,
That is an amazingly clean engine bay. You could possibly eat off of it! Actually, it probably is cleaner than my dinner table which is used for homework, school projects, etc, etc., etc. and sometimes for actual eating dinner.

I think I'll pass on the whipped cream.
I've been out of town for 2 weeks and haven't been able to touch it since the last update, but hopefully can finish this week. Final pictures and list of parts/costs coming soon...
Would it be good idea to squirt some oil in the cylinders before starting? I think it's been sitting 5 months or so.

Kevin: Awesome thread! I'm also replacing all the vacuum lines and rubber cooling hoses in the engine bay, so your pictures are great references for when I start putting things back together. Thanks!

Thanks guys. It's getting close, almost ready for fluids. I ended up dripping oil around the cylinder walls with an piece of extra KLR line through the plug holes. Below are pictures of current progress.
The last two pictures show my custom Special Tool for the front intake mount bolt. I forgot what I made it for until I had to tighten that bolt. What do you guys use?
I'll have all day Monday to finish- should be able to get it running

Absolutely Amazing!!!!!!!! Wonderful job and it keeps looking better. For that bolt, I use a socket and a ratchet. You have to remove the ic pipe and the airbox (I think). Very cool tool though.
