Unhappy Engine problems at high G's....!

My engine looses all power if i turn hard to the right. No problems in left hand turns... The engine does not stop, but it looses all power!

Anyone?

Maybe your car is really a NASCAR racer in disguise?

In all seriousness... could it be fuel pickup?

Was thinking NASCAR myself!

Think it might have something to do with the ignition.. It happens right away if I turn hard right. If it was fuel, it would not happen that fast... Right?

I'd look for an electrical issue myself... loose plug somewhere maybe.

Mine did the same thing -- once every 6 months or so... very difficult to track down. I "think" mine turned out to be a broken reference sensor connector. If your's does it every time, try wiggling wires/harnesses in the driveway and see if any affect the idle...

Your problem reminds me of my mom. One day at dinner when I was a teenager (in approx 1975) my mom says, "Hmmm, whenever I make a left turn the car hesitates. I think the carburetor float must be sticking. What do you think?"

Gotta love mom!

Except for no carburetor. Must be an electrical connection somewhere.

You never know, porsche could have snuck a carburator or two under the hood of a few 944s.

What year and model car do you have?

Check for vacuum leaks and loose/broken vacuum hoses. You might have to remove your intake manifold, but it's not that hard. Most older 924s and 944s suffer from messed up hoses.
