Default 43 STRAIGHT DAYS OF RAIN!!

Paradise my butt!!

We have had 43 straight days of rain here. I'm not talking sprinles, I'm talking deluges!! The most was 5.34" in one day. Most days are averaging somewhere around an inch. It will fool you by letting the sun come out for almost an hour, and then it starts up again. It is so bad over a million gallons of sewage has been pumped into the beach water! Nasty!
-Keith

Sorry wrong forum, let me add something about a car:

I finally got all the lights painted and took the bumper pads off. Can't drill the shocks yet because I don't want to get electrocuted.! I will try to take some pictures for uploading when the rain breaks again.

Thats insane. How are you supposed to ride around with the sunroof off with all that rain?

That is seriously odd though. Lets see some pictures of the progress.

I know how you feel! Today the rain record since the late 1800s was broken here in the Bay Area CA.

That sucks.. We are setting a record here in NY for the least amount of rain for the month of March. 0.80" and it was 71 today... Ahhh.. Spring is here

Hey Keith I can relate.

Everytime it looks like the weather is gonna clear for a few hours I take the cover off and gather my tools but before I can start anything it starts coming down again. I can't remember it ever raining so much for so long here.

Yep, get home and expect nice weather, and a "small" storm system moves in. That thing has been here for two months now!!

MR, have ya'll had any flooding issues in your area? I saw where it flooded the apt. building over in that area the other day.

I'm living in Waikele now and its been pretty steady all day. Luckily no flooding here but the ground is very saturated.

I've been off work since March 9th (birth of my first child) and I was hoping to get some work done on the car since I've got the time but this weather sucks. With my luck it'll continue to rain everyday until I go back to work.

Hey....at least you guys have a decent roof. My top needs to be replaced so I can't even pull the car out of the garage. I've been putting it off since I so rarely need it under normal circumstaces. I think it's time to get it done.

I'm out here on the "dry" side of the island. By dry I mean..raining for the past 43 days as well.

Hey! The sun came out today. I stuck the kids in the car and did a loop of most of the island. This was the view from a playground on the Windward side.

Nice to finally get some sun and warm up a bit...it's been in the 60s too many days....brrrrr!!!!
