well, the cost of shipping and restoring the ferrarri...yes. And a 914. I know a lot of jackasses here seem to think that was not true, and i got some pretty stupid pm's about it...but whatever.
as far as the porsche goes, yes, it is true i am giving up a warranty (though I can buy a 7/70 from an outside source based on the miles on the car already....) and yes, I am giving up a new car. And truthfully, I wanted a Boxster to begin with, but couldn't get approved. Now, I am approved for one, and I want the car i wanted to begin with. And I will get it. I still say within two months, but it may be a bit longer. Most likely, two months...
and yes, common sense and porsche are two words that just don't work together...

Well from my perspective....... keep the charger. You have a more capable car in the 951...... and a nice civil yet bad *** luxo-cruser in the charger that is reliable with waranty, etc.
I don't share the big appeal to the boxsters...... seem like more form over function.. not particularily great performers, yet still totally impractical and pricey.
The boxster just doesn't do it for me.

Common sense and Porsches ...??? I just traded my 87 944S with all the creature comforts including leather sport seats in great shape with 170,000km and 189HP for a bare bones 1978 911SC Targa with no AC, sport or power seats, no power windows with 174000km on it . .... too early to tell if it made sense or not ...

Just took the SC out today ... er..... made sense .... more like a go-cart than a car.. but what a thrill, less HP ( 185 ) but by the way it pulled has to be WAY less weight ...

You said you weren't crazy about the color of the white one. Neither was I when I got my 951. It has really grown on me. I consider it "classy" over "flashy".

Well, I think I finally found it. Its just a matter of working out numbers. The white one was REALLY nice, but, as I said, the mileage and color combo where working against it. Found one for 19k, one thousand more, that is black with tan interior, and less than 50k miles
