924S fuel line...the fun never ends!
Leaking fuel line on 924 S after dampener install. The line above the auto trans. Just my luck after reinstalling trans and exhaust system. This is the line that runs from the output side of fuel filter, over trans (where connector is situated) over to the steel fuel line running up floorboard.
Does anyone know if there is an access cover behind the rear seat to get at the connection above the trans? I PB blasted this fitting and could only get two stubby wrenches in there to try to brak the thing loose with no luck. If there is no access cover, this would be one heck of a location for this connection. In any event, I will be breaking out the hole saw and going in from up top or behind the seat to create one. I need to get this friggin' car out of my garage pronto!
Also, does anyone have a new one of these for sale, and could anyone identify the part number for me just in case.
Thanks

afaik, the only way to access the fuel line is from underneath the vehicle.
I replaced my fuel line and dropped a stubby screwdriver into the opening at the top of the auto trans while re-securing the lines.. took 3 hours to retract that bastard back out.
You may want to try a mirror and a light to get a better look at the subject (this is a particularly tricky task..) but you can actually SEE what you are working on. (Use 60 second epoxy on the mirror- stays stuck once positioned, and easily removed and epoxy is like hardened wax to remove)

Checking my manuals for you now Mike.
