Default Velocity Stacks

Will the 951 work with intake trumpets, like on the Ford Cosworth DFV engine? If they can- I bet the sound would be wickedly awesome.

Is this the same mentality that made people put carbs on 924s? (It makes more power than the stock CIS fuel injection...or the other one, which of course I forget!)

Shouldn't "Special Tool" know? Send him a PM Zach.

How do you plan to meter the intake air? And how do you plan to hook them up to the pressurized side of the turbo?

951 wouldnt. It would have to be enclosed in an intake plenum, thus youre not going to really hear the sound.

IIRC that bitchin 944 (NA) that raced at the runoffs uses carbs with intake velocity stacks. That's about as close as you're going to get.

Stacks do not require carbs.

Yeah, no ****. I was merely stating that car had carbs with stacks, at least back a few years ago. If I still had the picture from Sportscar I'd scan it and post it. Maybe you can scan some pictures of 944s with ITBs and stacks for us to look at. Any that I have seen with ITBs have a plenum over the very short stacks, that is to say you can't see them.
