Default Proper lube for door hinges

Anyone know the proper lube for the door hinges? My driver door opens and closes freely. The passenger door opens freely, but you need alot of muscle to close it. If I spray it with WD-40 it gets so easy people accidentally slam it. However, the effect wears off too soon.

White lithium grease in a spray format should hold on a lot longer! GL

Well, if it's stiff only when closing then something is loose. Allowing the little arm to bind when somebody closes the door.
Beyond that, I normally use lithium on door hinges and sliders.

I use lithium grease also, i found WD40 only lasts about a week at a time, the lithium grease lasts about a month inbetween usages. Is also nice to use on the hatch pins to get them to stop squeaking.

The best thing that I've found is some stuff called HS2000. It's in a spray can with a little straw for the nozzle. When you spry it, it's pretty thin and runny, but it quickly evaporates and becomes a thick grease like consistency that will stay put in the cracks for a long time. I believe that it's silicone based as well, so water proof. You just need the tinyest of squirts to get the job done.
