remember, 31 hollow is like 30 solid, and 400 front 30mm rear is a VERY standard setup for tracked 944/951's.
Joe, still trying to figure out what STB means, but what idea did it gove you?
My Sparco side mounts just arrived, so now I get to mess with these until I find away to make em fit.
Zero, 27 valves? well, um, i dunno!

The car is mostly for the track and AX. Still street driven to both venues. I tow a tire trailer behind the Porsche to DE events. Get the most looks then!

Derek - as stated - my 31mm hollow torsion bars have a 30mm solid effective rate. But yes, they are pretty huge. Fortunately, since I've got the coil overs in the front, swapping out the springs won't be too difficult if I need. I've also got the fat M030 front swaybar, so that should help balance it all out. Another tweak I can do is add an STB.

Now - do you folks know what tires folks run with my new setup? I plan on running 245-45/16's at all four - worked well with the stock suspension, so it should work ok with the stiffer setup, I presume.

An STB might be a good thing. I know another 944 spec racer that put one on his car. Said it the car turned in much crisper after adding it in.

Tires 245's should be pretty good. The S2 is really just like an NA except with 60 more hp and 500lbs more. Given the weight go with the same wider tire and I'd bet you will be fine. In my spec car I run 350 front 30 mm rear with welt bars front and rear. balance is good on 225's. Of course last time on the scales I as 2612lbs with me in the car right after a qualfying run.

That should be a very fun car to drive after the spring work!
