The exhaust valves should be the same as a 2.5l, only the intakes are bigger.
Hope that helps.

I am sure it was mistimed for 6 of 8 valves to be bent.

ohh man! the same happened to me the day I got my 89. The price is crazy for the vavles, but the 2.7 motor is worth it. I wish i had some for you but i just replaced the bent vavles and have no good ones as spares.

No, I have seen quite a few with many bent valves, just from the failure of the belt, not always a mistiming problem.

If you do not replace the valve guides, you will use more oil than normal. Not necessary for a cheapo fix, but if you want to do it right, you cant just throw new valves in.

Those valves are expensive and hard to come by. Have you considered parting the engine?

Its not possible for 6 valves to be open at the same time especially all 4 exhaust valves.

I thought bent valves would look a lot more bent than the picture shows... Maybe I'm just blind. I can't help you with the valves, but if you decide to part it out, I want that head, whatever condition it's in. I hope you can get it fixed though - I hear the 2.7s are a kick.

if those are same as NA, I probably have the valves you need. As for the intake ones, I'd have to check, but its unlikely. PM me if you want em.

All the valves dont have to be open at the same time to get bent. It is possible to bend all of the valves if the engine is spinning fast enough when the failure happens.

Part numbers are different, and are listed seperately, so i would imagine the 2.7L intake and exhaust are indeed different.
