I'm so sorry to see this. Good news is that you're ok. If I can help in any way, gimme a call.

Dal.

Sorry to see that happen to your car, but obviously glad that you're OK. Hallet seems to eat M3's. Your car is the 4th one that I know about going upside down in the last 3 years. This might be a good chance to talk the wife into a purpose built race car with a cage and a full safety system. " Honey, It's not that I want a faster car. This Stohr is just so much safer than my street car."

Dibs on the M3 engine/trans for my 325?

Is that over the line?

Sorry to about the flip Joe, at least it was doing something fun instead of getting hit by a drunk driver or something. And my naive experience has informed me that most insurance companies WILL pay off a claim for a DE related accident... once. Most policies prohibit "timed speed events" and there are "no times" at a DE.

Joe

That sure for sure, but can't it be pounded out and still driven (for the track)?

For those interested - I just talked with my Insurance guy (Progressive reseller - local to me) and he said as long as its a non-timed, instructed driving event/track day my car is covered.

Me: Im calling regarding Driver Education events / insurance
Him: Which car are you taking - the Pathfinder or the BMW?
Me: LOL!!....the BMW.

He even added at the end: "Putnam is a great track - watch out for the carousel..Have fun!"

Sweet!

That's good to hear, as I've got Progressive as well. Thanks

Still waiting to hear from my agent....

Wow, THAT is cool! You sure made a sharp deal with that M3. It's almost always a forgone conclusion that you end up with less than you paid out of an insurance settlement.

I'm very pleased that it worked out so well.

So what's it gonna be, another M3?

So now that you got your check, where might a vulture find the car?
