Default AIR spoiler installation....

Just got mine from the group-buy- I thought it would be much more simple & self-explanatory to install... there are no bolt holes or anything... I assumed it would screw on where the factory chin spoiler did- I asked how it mounted before ordering, but didn't get an answer- anyone here know? How much effort are we talking about? If there's a thread that covers this, I apologize- search engine's not working at all right now...

thanks
Robby

Best way is to drill holes through the bottom lip to access the stock screw clips where the batwing attaches. It's somewhat of a pain.. take your time to measure twice, drill once.

Remove the bumper cover, will save you a ton of time and it will line up right.

i used metal auto body clip nuts. I marked where i wanted the holes, slid the clip nuts on and drilled the holes where the clip nuts went. Then i taped it onto the bumper, marked the holes- used a few of the factory holes- and then put the corresponding bolts in the inside of the bumper and they bolted right into the clip nuts and wala!

I think that is 944Pete's old car, now Russian Rocket's (Vlad). Beautiful car, have seen it in person!

Thanks a lot guys... I'm hoping to get my car repainted near the end of April, so I'll leave it to my body work guy then I think- he's really good w/stuff like this & might have a few ideas- I'd like it to be easy to remove & replace for when I need to access that area... I only bought it b/c I needed to replace the factory batwing fairly soon & assumed it wasn't much more than just buying replacement stock parts & I definately think it looks better from the front & side views...

thanks again...
