Default Wheel offset question

Hi,

I am looking into buying some BBS LM replicas. I Was wondering if anyone else had these so they could advise me on proper offset and tire combos. Front are 18 x 8.5 et 52mm back are 18 x 10 et 48mm. Will these fit properly in an 89 S2 wheel well? What size tires should I use? I have a pair of 225/40/18 lying around for the front but am not sure if they would fit properly on a 8.5 inch rim. For the back, I'm thinking either 255/35/18 or 275/35/18. I'm pretty sure the rear et 48mm fits nicely but am not sure about the front. Thanks in advance for any advice.
