Default Update and pics of new additions

Hi All - I sold my Gray S2 - the deepice car with all the miles on it and the one in my avatar back on June 1, 2005 to a fellow up in Tennessee who said he drifted 928s. A pic of it popped up on here from the NOPI nationals a while back.

I lasted about 6 months - drove an old honda and an old ford pick-up for a while before I couldn't take it anymore. I started looking and came across a white 1989 S2 with a navy blue interior and 170k on the clock. I picked it up for 6k on February 1st and drove it home. The exterior is in great condition and the interior in in pretty decent shape. Dash has a lot of cracks, seats are showing wear and the are some bent interior panels in the rear where water leaked through the sunroof at some time.

That weekend I was surfing on ebay and came across another car - a 1989 NA with a blown timing belt and lots of bent body panels. I had seen the car on craigslist before the timing belt went out. I worked out a deal with the guy on the car and dragged it home on Saturday the 4th. The black car has a limited slip transmission, 10 speaker door panels, a factory air pump and of course the bigger motor.

This Saturday Albert (aribop) and I got together and snapped a few black and white shots which are attached. I am musing over some different ideas on the S2. I've already removed the window tinting and rock guards. I've got C2-turbo wheels on the way thanks to DareDevil and ebay. I put in clear front turn lenses and I've got clear sidemarkers on the way from turnclear. I am thinking about converting the interior to black using whatever I can from the parts car. I am also considering using the NA LSD trans in the S2 although I am not sure what that means from a gearing angle. Albert's got dibs on the 89 NA motor I've got some before pics on the S2 and pics of the 89 NA on this site - www.barefamily.com/porsche.html Sorry about the book....

Pics are awesome Josh. Cool hanging with you again. Now we have to get to work tearing that black thing down. I'll call you closer to the weekend.

Your link has a bad backslash..... www.barefamily.com/porsche.html

White car looks just like my S2, except I have Burg. interior.

The white car looks nice and I actually don't mind the blue interior. What the heck happened to the black one, geez. Poor car.
