I agree it was uncalled for, but a lot of the comments by the Tifoster have likewise been uncalled for.

Technical knowledge alone does not give one the right to attach strings of "*******-ness" to it, IMO. Either share the information gratuitously or don't. That's what this forum is about.

That said, I also appreciate what Tifo has (in the past) contributed here. It'd be nice if things got back to the way they were with people just getting along for the most part and helping each other out. 944-related issues should (at least around here) trump any petty squabbling that we might have with one another. That's what this forum is for.

For those unaware of the history, a lot of this crap goes back to another thread in which someone (heavens forbid!) brought an ebay auction for 968 parts to the attention of people on the forum. Someone got bent out of shape about this (since they were watching the auction and hoping for a good low-price kill) and an arguement about the appropriateness of this ensued. Tifo happened to believe that this was inappropriate. Others, including myself, disagreed. Fine and dandy. That's allowed and if everyone thought the same the world would be an awfully boring place. It just turned ugly fast and the rest, as they say, is history. . .

Let's just knock off the personal attacks, the highschoolish attitudes and the B.S. on ALL sides. I point the finger at EVERYONE here - including myself. Please. We already have one forum that is despicable for its juvenile antics (O.T.) We don't need another.

Can't we all just get along? This doesn't mean we always have to agree, but let's at least try to act civil and "get along" in the sense of being adult and courteous to one another, K?

I'm willing to do my part and start with myself - anyone else "in" on this?

I'm lost. Is it b/c his/her posts are useless? Is BigNNasty a woman? Am I missing something?

No I am not a woman...

Tom is just insecure about his own sexuality...

I'm out this time. I'm accused of this forum going to the ****ter, which in ways is indeed true, but in other ways if Tom hadn't been a dick from the get go, I would not be to blame.

I'll be back Summer '06!
