Default Everyone loves an unscrupulous 944 flipper

Hey guys, check out this 944. The best part is that he's using a picture of MY CAR'S INTERIOR. I know for a fact, because my steering wheel was custom wrapped by me, and I mean I took that picture myself for crying out loud.

He says things like MOMO steering wheel, leather, all things my car's interior doesn't have. I love the 170hp... WTF. This pisses me off, man.

That is my favorite color for a 944! Not on the modern (85.5) cars forward though, right? Still...nice looking old car.

Strange about your interior photo though...were did the seller get it from--Rennlist?

Shame - it's a good looking car (beautiful paint color). Definately has potential. . . I wouldn't touch it though given the guy's ad. "A/C works but needs recharge". Goddammit I hate when people say that - they lose all credibility with that line. Either it works or it doesn't. It doesn't "just need a recharge". If the system is empty, it's empty for a reason (namely it has a leak or a blown compressor and is going to cost you about a grand to fix properly - ask me how I know). And what's up with that pimp-*** fugly dash carpet thing? Oh wait, let me guess - it's to "protect the dash" right? Uh huh. Never mind the dash under it probably has a gazillion cracks and fissures and could be used as a model of the Grand Canyon. Idjuts. At least someone will liberate that car from that fool. . . Hopefully someone worthy.

Aside from the fact it's owned / being sold by an asshat and has the poopy brown interior, that's not a bad price and I'd otherwise consider it. . .

I just asked him for more interior pics and an engine pic. We'll see what he/she sends.

Those are intersting wheels, possibly the 3-peice Design 90's. I think this car was actually up on Craigslist a few weeks ago. I remember those wheels.

I do believe that the (510) area code is Oakland.

If you took that picture, then your odometer probably doesn't show 75k like he advertises...
So, send him a blown up pic where you can read the odometer (you can see it in his pic, just not read it), and call him a liar right to his face....

Wow man, you're such a nice guy. I'm glad we're friends!
You don't have to bash my dash like that. Yes, it's cracked to hell under that mat. SO WHAT? Some of us are less fortunate. When I bought my 944, I got it for $875, and it was in shambles. I spent 2 years fixing EVERY mechanical problem, and now it's a perfect runner. I couldn't afford anything better at the time, and I still can't afford a cosmetic repair. It came with that dash mat, and while it's not glamorous, it gets the job done for someone like me, who cares more about go than show.

You obviously hold interior condition in high priority, and in order to accomplish the levels of quality with the methods you suggest, you must be rich. Send me a fat stack of cash so I can fix this stupid unimportant crap, while I spend my own money on wheel bearings and head gaskets. I mean, you could just say you don't like it, you don't have to insult my car. Can't we make fun of this fool instead of making fun of me?

Anyway, the hurtful remarks bring up a good point - why would anyone like to show pics of MY interior as their own? It's not like it's a pic a show-winning interior...
