Yea, my wife doesn't know how to drive a stick. A few times that we've tried in the neighborhood, it was dump stall, dump stall, dump overrev, stall, and we never did get out of first gear. Made me age very quickly, just thinking the clutch would give out.

I finally got Tammy to learn to drive stick, two nights of parkinglot runs. She had it down pretty well and then never drove it again. Then the Audi she's had her eyes on for a while came up for sale, oops, stick! Another frantic crash course in the parking lots and forcing her to drive us home and she was off to driving the Audi. Now she loves driving a manual, says she feels more in control of the car(which I've been telling her she would say for a while now). She still won't drive the 954, I'll get her in it this summer.
